14th Annual Golf Classic benefits Cortland Regional Medical Center
On Monday, August 14th, the Cortland Country Club was the site for the
Cortland Memorial Foundation (CMF) 14th Annual Golf Classic. The event
attracted 60 golfers, as well as other invited guests, for a day of fun,
golf, and fine food. This year’s tournament raised money for the
Cortland Memorial Foundation, which provides support to Cortland Regional
Medical Center for equipment and programs that enhance patient care, promote
health education and improve the quality of life in Cortland and the surrounding
region. Thanks to the generosity of its many sponsors, this year’s
CMF Golf Classic profited over $60,000.
Since the first CMF Golf Classic began in 2004, the event has raised over
$1 million in support of the hospital’s programs and initiatives.
“We are extremely pleased with the success of this event,”
said Debbie Nadolski, CMF Executive Director, “Our medical center
partners with many businesses, corporations and organizations on a daily
basis who enable us to provide the best care possible for our patients.”
Some of the corporate supporters are from the Cortland community while
others are based throughout the region and beyond New York State.
The Foundation was grateful to have the top support of the following corporate
sponsors: ENV Insurance Agency, LLC; Excellus BlueCross BlueShield; Health
Direct Pharmacy/Kinney Drugs Foundation; Jackson Lewis; Schopfer Architects,
LLP; Strategic Financial Services; and US Acute Care Solutions.
Foundation board members Marisa Clifford, D.M.D., and Stephen Franco served
as co-chairs of the event. Plans will begin later this year for the 15th Annual Cortland Memorial Foundation Golf Classic slated for August 13, 2018.
