Cortland Regional Maternity Services
Compassionate care for moms and babies
The birth of your baby is one of life's most memorable experiences.
Cortland Regional Medical Center is your best choice for obstetrical and
maternity care, and our experience proves it. Last year, over 500 families
trusted us with bringing their children into the world. Cortland Regional's
maternity department is regularly recognized for its high-quality care,
and it was recently designated among the first hospitals to receive the
Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care designation, a new designation under the Blue Distinction Specialty Care Program.
Make us a part of your family too!
Cortland Regional is proud to welcome Dr. Sudhir Potluri to our clinical
team. Dr. Potluri brings over 26 years of experience as an obstetrician/gynecologist
to the Cortland community. He has extensive experience in all facets of
a woman’s reproductive health including labor and delivery, high-risk
births and gynecological surgery. He proudly estimates that he has delivered
between 4,000 and 5,000 babies during his professional career.
Working in collaboration with Dr. Potluri is
Mary Borra, our Certified Nurse Midwife. Mary brings many years of advanced training
and experience in prenatal, well-women, family planning, and gynecology
care. In addition to Dr. Potluri, Mary also works closely with Cortland
Regional’s primary care and family medicine teams to serve the healthcare
needs of the women in our community.
Dr. Potluri and Mary Borra are currently accepting new patients. Please
