On Friday, September, 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Cortland Memorial
Foundation will host the 5th Annual Harvest of Gold fundraiser. This event is one of the Foundation’s
largest public fundraising events in support of Cortland Regional Medical
Center’s continued efforts to provide high quality, compassionate
healthcare close to home.
The event will be held under a tent at the Lynne Parks ’68 SUNY Cortland
Alumni House. Guests will enjoy an evening of music by Rick Starmer, delectable
hors d’oeuvres catered by Hairy Tony’s, and a cash bar while
mingling with friends. Ticket holders will have a chance to win one of
three prizes including an “Experience the Four Seasons of Cortland”
basket and a “Dine around Cortland” package. Tickets purchased
by September 1st will also be entered into a $500 Early Bird cash drawing. Only 250 tickets
will be sold. The proceeds of this year’s event will help to meet
the critical health care needs of the Cortland community.
Special honorees this year will be Gutchess Lumber Company and the Gutchess
Family who have supported Cortland Regional and the Foundation since 1988.
A special part of this year’s program will be the drawing of the
winning tickets for Cortland Regional’s Hospital Aid cash raffle.
This year’s grand prize will be $10,000. Only 300 tickets total
will be sold. Grand Prize is $10,000, second and third prize are $1,000
each, with fourth and fifth prize at $500 each.
