The mission of Cortland Regional Medical Center is to “provide quality
healthcare with skill and compassion, meeting the lifelong healthcare needs of all citizens of Cortland and the surrounding communities.” Part of meeting the lifelong healthcare needs is improving the wellness of our community through leadership in health-related activities and education. One way the medical center can assume a leadership role is through a Speakers Bureau. The Speakers Bureau serves as an opportunity for physicians, department managers, and other qualified CRMC staff to be a resource for others, and to share their knowledge and experience with local schools, agencies, and civic organizations.
Presentation topics include:
- Healthcare Information Technology
- Care of the Disabled & Elderly at Home
- Handling Grief
- Emergency Medical Services
- Organ & Tissue Donation
- Psychopharmacology
- Pulmonary Medicine
