can be life-changing. Fortunately, hope starts at Cortland Regional Medical
Center. Our team of dedicated doctors and medical professionals are all
focused on you. So, you can count on us for the answers and the treatment
you need, close to home.
Coordinated, Compassionate Care
Cortland Regional Medical Center offers coordinated, compassionate care
to proactively manage your treatment program. Our interdisciplinary approach
includes a team of specialists (radiology, medical oncology, radiation
oncology, surgery and a nurse navigator) who collaborate to provide each
patient an individualized plan. Our cancer nurse navigator will personally
guide you through your treatment process, ultimately resulting in a higher
standard of care.
When the state-of-the-art digital mammography system was introduced at
CRMC, it was the first of its kind in Cortland County. Our digital mammography
unit provides a more comfortable, quicker and detailed mammogram. In just
a few seconds, a high-resolution, clear image of the breast is obtained
with less overall dose to the breast. To schedule a mammogram, please
talk to your primary care provider who will refer you to our imaging department.
