Cortland Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is delighted to welcome a new physician
to the Regional Medical Practice (RMP) family. Dr. Andras Szabo will join
the team on February 29 in the Internal Medicine department of RMP, bringing
with him over 22 years of distinguished medical experience.
Dr. Szabo comes to CRMC from Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton where he practiced
Internal Medicine for the past thirteen years. Dr. Szabo takes an integrative
approach to healthcare and medicine, treating the body and the soul as
an interconnected whole. “I possess considerable knowledge and experience
in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic problems of psychopathology—a
very valuable and useful set of skills my medical patients have benefited
from throughout my career,” says Dr. Szabo.
When asked what the Cortland community could expect as his patient, Dr.
Szabo says, “I hold the value of the patient experience and expectations
of myself as a doctor in the highest regard. I pride myself on my ability
to build healing, therapeutic relationships with my patients, and in achieving
the greatest level of patient satisfaction possible. I’ve heard
nothing but good things from associates that have made the transition
to the Cortland Regional program, and look forward to helping them maintain
their number-one ranked reputation.”
Dr. Szabo will begin accepting new patients in early March at the RMP Internal
Medicine office, which is located at 82 Copeland Avenue in Homer. For
