Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
As part of the medical center's initiative to provide services along the full continuum of care, an attached 80-bed nursing and rehabilitation center opened in 1993. The Cortland Regional Nursing & Rehabilitation Center offers our community four levels of care in a relaxed, comfortable setting:
Long Term Care
Provided for residents who need 24-hour skilled nursing care in a home-like environment and require medical and/or rehabilitative services.
Short Term Rehabilitation
Provides nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for patients who have been in the hospital and need additional therapy and supportive services before they are able to return home.
Adult Day Health Care
Cortland Regional’s Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) program is provide comprehensive health care services to the disabled, chronically ill and frail elderly in a homelike setting. The program operates Monday through Saturday from 7am - 4:00pm, and is especially helpful for a primary caregiver who is employed outside the home.
These programs allow enrolled individuals to receive the health care services they need while living at home. Services include:
- Medical and Rehabilitative
- Pet Therapy
- Therapeutic Recreation
Incorporating nursing care with social activities in a cheerful, rehabilitative environment, our program supports the person as an individual and not as a person with disabilities.
