Working directly with the Laboratory Director, and closely with the physician - in this role you will supervise staff Medical Technologist in the microbiology area as well as perform laboratory analyses of clinical specimens as part of the diagnosis and management of disease.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current Medical Technologist licensed (or license eligible) by the New York State Department of Education required. At least five years of Medical Laboratory experience, with at least one year in a charge or supervisory role preferred.

In this role, you will provide for clinical supervision of Psychiatric Emergency Services within Cortland Regional Medical Center and within Cortland County - under supervision from the Clinical Coordinator of Psychiatric Services and the Medical Director/Psychiatrist here at CRMC.
You will also provide support to ancillary staff and function as a primary resource to all members of the Psychiatric Staff. Clinical supervision of the staff Psychiatric Evaluators also falls under your responsibilities.

Our Nurse Residency Program is very competitiive, and is able to offer only ten slots for our 2011 grads. We completed our first round of GN interviews at the end of March, and offers were extended mid-April.
