For example, we worked closely with St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in establishing a local dialysis center for area residents, and launched a telemedicine program with Universtiy Hospital to speed treatment of stroke patients.

Hospital Care – A Better Inpatient Experience
At Cortland Regional Medical Center we understand a hospital stay is not easy: you are away from the comforts of home, and you’re concerned about your health. Our primary goals are your health along with your sense of comfort while you’re under our care.
The Hospitalist Program
Cortland Regional Medical Center has implemented the Hospitalist Program to enhance your inpatient stay. A Hospitalist is a physician specializing in hospital-patient treatment and management. Your primary care physician may choose to have a Hospitalist to oversee your stay, and provide you with attentive expert care.
Priorities for Inpatient Care: Comfort and Convenience
No one wants to be in the hospital, but the more comfortable a hospital stay is the better. At Cortland Regional Medical Center, we cater to the patient and their family with a variety of amenities: free parking, the spoken menu for patients, a cafeteria featuring a full menu, comfortable waiting areas and more.
Advanced Technology
Technology is constantly evolving and the equipment at CRMC is not
just on par with, but is often more advanced than that found at other larger medical facilities in Central New York. Consider in our Medical Imaging Department, our two digital x-ray machines, our digital mammography suite, 64 slice CT scanner, 4D ultrasound, and three state-of-the-art nuclear medicine cameras. Cortland Regional Medical Center also utilizes patient management software in the ER. This technology assists medical staff as they communicate between each other regarding patient information, and gets patients in, out and on their way efficiently with the highest level of care.

Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Through the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, rehabilitative physicians and nurses can work with you in our residential facility, through an outpatient program or in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
Outpatient Service Center
The recently expanded and renovated Cortland Regional Medical Center Outpatient Service Center at 4005 West Road provides our community with a wide range of diagnostic imaging and physical therapy in a spacious and comfortable setting.
Home Health Services – Healthcare Comes to You
For patients who want to live independently at home but still need medical attention and/or equipment, Cortland Regional offers Home Health Services. Among its many services are home delivery and pick-up of oxygen, beds, wheelchairs, bathroom equipment.
Laboratory Services
If you’re already at Cortland Regional Medical Center, there’s no need to travel far if you need laboratory services. With a total of three locations for lab work (one on campus, and two in the community), no appointments are necessary and results are usually available the same day.
